One of the best games I've played in this subgenre! The replayability is incredible, and I’m constantly discovering new strategies to tackle challenging situations with each new run. There’s almost always a way to escape tough spots, and the game has never felt unfair—unlike some other entries within this space. The initial spike in difficulty requires some patience, but after that, it becomes a smooth ride. Each run feels completely unique, and death isn’t pointless; you always learn from your mistakes.

The game does not provide any instructions, but once you grasp how to defeat enemies without taking damage yourself, it transforms into a fantastic strategic experience. Although I haven’t completed the game yet, I can already tell I will keep enjoying it.

Key Features

Distinct Character Abilities

Your character comes equipped with three unique abilities, each critical for a successful run. However, be mindful as each ability consumes stamina, which recovers over turns. Use them wisely!

Abilities

DASH

Slice through enemies in a straight line, dealing damage if you wield your sword or dodging past them if you are unarmed.

JUMP

Leap from one square to another, stunning nearby enemies when armed or merely pushing them aside if unarmed.

THROW

Toss your sword at an enemy, inflicting damage. When unarmed, the throwing cost is less in stamina. You can even catch your sword back mid-dash or during a jump, defeating some enemies while conserving stamina.

Perfect Your Strategy

To survive the depths of this game, you need to refine your strategy. The game challenges you to cleverly combine your abilities to outsmart enemies and maximize your effectiveness each turn. Your decisions will dictate your success—whether using Dash to quickly cut down multiple foes, making a precise Jump to stun them, or Throwing your sword to inflict damage from afar. Be strategic, as the level of challenges and enemies escalates as you progress.
