Important Notes on Ticket Booking

Paperless Ticket Booking

This option (Book and Travel) is not permitted inside the train or within the station premises. This rule aims to prevent ticket booking simply by spotting the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) or Ticket Collector (TC).

Booking Location

For paperless tickets, users must ensure they are away from the station premises or railway tracks during the booking process.

Paper Ticket Requirement

For those choosing the paper ticket option (Book and Print), it is mandatory to print the ticket at either ATVM/CoTVM kiosks or General Booking counters at the station prior to boarding the train.

Eligibility for Users

The service is unavailable to individuals under the age of seventeen or to anyone who has previously been suspended or removed from services by Indian Railways.
