Features of DigiHUD Pro Speedometer

DigiHUD Pro Speedometer is a GPS-based digital heads-up display (HUD) that records useful speed and distance information for your journey. It is particularly beneficial if your vehicle's speedometer has malfunctioned, if you wish to verify your vehicle speed, or if you simply need to know your speed while cycling, running, flying, sailing, etc.

Please note that while we strive for accuracy, all readings are dependent on your device's GPS sensor and should be regarded as approximations.

How to Use DigiHUD Pro

Switch Views

Swipe the speed display left or right to toggle between Full, Lite, and split views (speed/map).

Change Display Mode

Swipe the speed up or down to switch between HUD (mirrored) and normal displays.

Access Profiles

Tap the car icon to open different profiles.

Save Locations

Tap the Pin icon to save your current location. Long press to view your saved Pins.

Cycle Through Counters

Touch the trip counter to navigate through the three available counters.

Select Speed Unit

Long-press the speed unit to choose between MPH, KMH, and KTS (also available in the menu).

Reset Values

Long-pressing any speed or trip value will reset it.

Start/Stop Logging

Long-press the red circle to initiate or cease logging.

Menu Options in Window Mode

When in window mode, touch the DigiHUD Pro icon (top left corner) to access the menu for switching to full-screen app, pausing, starting/stopping logging, or exiting.

Global Reset

All values can be reset by long-pressing the "PAUSE RESET" button (except for odometer reading in the Statistics popup).

The application ensures that the screen remains active during long journeys and functions in both landscape or portrait modes.

Additional Features

Lite Mode

Switch to Lite mode (speed only) by swiping left on the speed display.

Altitude and Dual Clock Display

Shows altitude and keeps a second clock display.

Custom Speed Alerts

Set multiple speed warnings with customizable colors, speeds, sounds, and triggers for over-speed or under-speed alerts.

Background Color Customization

Choose any background color for the display.

Profiles

Create settings for different activities or modes of transport, maintaining separate adjustments and values.

Location Pins

Save locations you visit and revisit them later or view on Google Maps.

Route Logging and Export

Record routes and export them as .KML, .GPX, or CSV files, or open them in Google Earth if installed.

Day/Night Mode

Select different color settings and brightness for day and night, with an auto-switch feature at dawn and dusk.

Edit Speed and Distance Values

Modify the values for odometer, trip, and maximum speeds.

Power Connection Options

Optional start/stop controls based on whether the device is connected or disconnected from power.

Litespeed Mode

Automatically switch to 'Lite mode' when exceeding a certain speed.

Speedtouch Lock

Disable all touch events above a chosen speed.

Elapsed Time Tracking

Tap the clock to toggle between elapsed time and a standard clock display.

Compass Feature

Tap the compass for a simple navigation option displaying bearing and odometer; tap again for classic compass view.

Speed Adjustment

Fine-tune displayed speed by +/- 20%.

Hide Unlit Segments

Remove distractions by hiding unlit numerical segments.

Decimal Selection

Choose the number of decimals displayed, up to two.

Optional Decimal for Speed

Display speed with one decimal place if desired.

Multi-Window Support

Compatible with Samsung’s multi-window and LG dual window modes.
