Compatibility

TunerPro Files

The app supports TunerPro files (ADX). Before purchasing, ensure you have the correct ADX file that corresponds to your ECM's code mask. The ADX file must also be unencrypted as the app cannot read encrypted files. After running the app for the first time, you will need to copy your ADX file into the ADX directory within the ALDLdroid folder on your Android device.

Other Vehicle Brands

With the right XDF file (ensuring it is not encrypted), ALDLdroid can also be used for tuning other vehicle brands, including BMW, Buell, DSM, Ducati, Ford, Holden, Nissan, Porsche, Volvo, Fiat, Renault, etc. Make sure to acquire the necessary XDF file before purchase.

Real-time Tuning

Editing BIN Files

The application allows users to edit BIN files using TunerPro (XDF) files. It currently supports real-time tuning with Moates Ostrich and Moates AutoProm hardware. Additionally, chip programming can be done with Moates BURN1/BURN2 hardware.

Connection Options

Users can connect to the ECM via Bluetooth or USB (FTDI). Ensure your Android device supports either connection method; note that not all devices support USB host mode despite having a USB port.

Dashboard Customization

Edit Mode

By double-tapping any page of the dashboard, users can enter edit mode for complete customization of dashboard indicators. You can add, edit, and delete indicators by dragging them to desired locations. Available formats include gauge, basic readout, bar graph, or histogram.

Alarms

Alarm thresholds can be set for specified values, where indicators may turn red, or the app may vibrate as a reminder.

The app includes several data viewers:

A scatter plot viewer that lets you select X/Y/Z axes from your data logs.
