PIDs and Customization

The list of models and parameters for vehicle diagnostics will be regularly updated. It is important to note that not all Parameter IDs (PIDs) from the list for a particular car brand may be supported by your vehicle. To make it easier, you can select the required types of PIDs in the Settings > PID types menu.

For some specific brands, such as certain Mitsubishi models, there is functionality available to control various systems (e.g., activating a cooling fan or gasoline pump). To read the MUT parameters and control actuators on Mitsubishi vehicles using the CAN bus (such as Montero/Pajero IV or Outlander 2), create a profile utilizing the ISO 9141-2 protocol. For other profiles intended for reading CAN parameters, use either the ISO 15765-4 CAN (11bit 500K) protocol or set it to automatic. However, please keep in mind that not all Mitsubishi models with CAN bus support ISO 9141-2 connectivity.

There are extensive opportunities to create custom parameters for enhanced vehicle diagnostics.

The application provides the capability to:

Present real-time graphics and save them for later viewing.

Show and reset engine fault codes (DTC trouble codes).

It supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ELM327 adapters. It is recommended to use adapters version 1.5, as there have been numerous complaints regarding the performance of version 2.1.

Cars manufactured in European countries since:

* 2003 for diesel vehicles

Cars manufactured in Japan since approximately 2001

CarBit ELM327 OBD II allows for comprehensive car diagnostics. With this tool, users can:
