Useful Tips for Watermarking Images

Preserve Original Images

Always keep the original images after adding watermarks, as you cannot remove watermarks from processed photos.

Automatic Watermarking

To add watermarks automatically, select photos in your Gallery, then share them to "Add Watermark."

Import Custom Fonts

For custom fonts, copy up to 20 TrueType or OpenType fonts to the folder `addwatermark/custom_fonts` on your device.

Date Stamp Feature

To place a date stamp on your photo, insert the placeholder `%date%` in the watermark text found in Settings.

Android Limitations

Please note the following limitation on Android devices: As of Android 4.4 (KitKat) and later, it is no longer possible to save images to any folder on an external SD card due to security restrictions. Instead, use the internal memory of the device or the app's private folder on external storage.

User-defined image watermarks are disabled.

Saving options are limited to .jpg format, downsized to 1024 pixels on the long side.
