Essential Road Companion
A must-have assistant during your travels!
If you are approaching a camera while exceeding the speed limit by more than 19 km/h, the application will sound a warning. Be mindful that penalties for exceeding the speed limit start at 500 rubles for speeds above 20 km/h.
The application relies on established data regarding the locations of fixed cameras and DPS radars (such as Strelka or Start ST). In the PREMIUM version, users can add missing cameras manually and sync this information with other users. This community-driven approach allows for timely updates without waiting for official additions.
Important Reminder: While GPS AntiRadar serves as an invaluable assistant, it does not guarantee the absence of fines, particularly for new cameras that may not be immediately included in the database. Always adhere to traffic regulations.
1.The application cannot find the GPS signal. What should I do?
GPS functionality can be affected by various factors including weather. For best results:
Step outside into open areas as GPS signals are weak indoors.
Ensure that the GPS module is activated; you should see a notification about its activation when you start the application.
Try toggling the GPS off and on again.
2.There are no sound notifications. What should I do?
Check that all notification volumes are set to maximum through Android settings: `Settings -> Sound -> Volume`.
Make sure the GPS is not limited to "speed only" in the settings, enabling overall sound alerts.
To test, drive near a camera. The app should beep when the camera type and speed limit appear on screen.
If connected to your car’s stereo via Bluetooth, ensure that audio from other applications is permitted to play notifications.
3.What if the app doesn't work in the background on specific devices?
For devices like Xiaomi, Huawei, and Meizu, specific configurations might be needed. Refer to instructions provided within the app for detailed guidance.
GPS AntiRadar is more than just a tool; it’s a reliable companion for every driver aiming to navigate safely and avoid unnecessary fines.
