In "Countryballs at War," players begin with a set amount of attack and diplomacy points that can be increased throughout the game. At the start, your total points in either category are predetermined. Engaging in an attack on a territory will consume one attack point, while diplomatic actions will reduce your diplomacy points by one each time they are used. The totals for both points will be recalculated at the end of each act. Additionally, players can raise the maximum value of these points by participating in various academies.
Players must remain vigilant regarding global events that can influence gameplay, such as pirate invasions. Historical events like the Pirate Invasion are featured within the game, which necessitates heightened awareness in seaport areas due to potential threats. While you have the option to play as any country, not all countries are publicly accessible; some may be hidden. Utilize the "Get Hint!" button during gameplay to receive helpful tips when needed.
Strategic recruitment of allies is essential to defend your territories from enemies within "Countryballs at War." Players can declare wars, request assistance, sign peace treaties, offer peace terms to adversaries, and even create puppet states. Careful consideration is necessary when selecting allies, as enemies will be eager to seize your lands. Keeping your country stable is crucial; failure to do so may lead to citizen rebellions, potentially costing you half your land and a significant portion of your military forces.
Success in warfare hinges on collaboration with allies and building a robust army. To triumph in battles, players must deploy their troops onto the battlefield and advance into enemy territory. Be prepared, as opponents will actively defend their positions; organizing your followers into an effective army is vital for success.
