The SSE File/Text Encryption and Password Vault is an all-in-one solution that integrates file encryption, text encryption, and password management functionalities.
This application combines file encryption, text encryption, and password management into a comprehensive solution tailored for advanced users.
Important Note:
The application offers a variety of options and is designed for experienced users.
All data is securely encrypted (mathematically altered) using keys derived from your chosen password.
If you forget your password, your data will be irretrievable, regardless of any messages to our support. Only the correct password can restore access.
If you prefer to have others manage your activities and decision-making, this application may not be suitable for you.
Strong Encryption Algorithms
Supports AES (Rijndael) 256-bit, RC6 256-bit, Serpent 256-bit, Blowfish 448-bit, Twofish 256-bit, GOST 256-bit, Threefish 1024-bit, and SHACAL-2 512-bit (available in S.S.E. Pro).
Steganography
Incorporates a steganographic feature allowing you to conceal text within a JPEG image using the F5 algorithm combined with a selected symmetric cipher algorithm.
Additional Utilities
Includes tools such as a password generator, clipboard cleaner, and algorithm benchmarks.
Minimal Permissions
The application requires minimal permissions and contains no advertisements.
Issue: My file(s) are still visible after encryption.
Answer: The SSE File Encryptor functions like an archiver by creating a new `.enc` file. You can manually delete the original files once encryption is complete or enable automatic deletion by adjusting the settings under File Encryptor → Wipe Source After Encryption.
Issue: The external SD card (or USB drive) is read-only on Android 4.4 and higher.
Answer: Due to restrictions introduced in Android 4.4, write access to external SD cards is limited to preinstalled apps only. To address this, you can either root your device to change permissions or update to Android 5.0+ and use SAF mode. Alternatively, you can save your files in the following directory on your external SD card:
Android/data/com.paranoiaworks.unicus.android.sse
The app should have write permissions in this specified folder.
