Installation Instructions

Important Note: This will not work on a stock Nougat ROM (proceed at your own risk)! You must have the Andromeda app (for Samsung and unrooted Oreo ROMs) and the Substratum App installed.

Steps to Install:

1.Theme Setup：

Choose either the Dark theme or default theme with a blue accent in the Display Settings of Oxygen OS.

Select either Oxygen OS Oreo or Oxygen OS Pie from the top of the overlay list.

Select all options in the overlays you wish to apply.

2.Applying the Theme：

Click on the "Build & Enable" option in the FAB menu.

If the quick settings tile icon appears in a different color, navigate to display settings and change the accent color back to the default blue accent.

If you encounter graphical glitches with the dialer and contacts, switch the theme to default and then back to dark.

3.Final Touches：

Perform a full reboot after applying the theme.

Follow these steps for theme installation:

1.Download and install the theme.

2.Open Substratum, grant full root permissions, and allow system modifications.

3.Click on the theme and wait for resource caches to create, then click on the theme again.

4.Inside the theme, select the overlays you'd like to apply, taking care to choose the correct version corresponding to the apps installed on your device.

5.Click the floating action button (FAB) and select "Build & Enable."

6.Wait for SystemUI to restart after the compilation/installation finishes without errors.

7.Enjoy your new VaLeRie UI!

Note that root access is mandatory for Android Pie stock ROMs.

The VaLeRie theme is an elegant Substratum Theme compatible with nearly all devices and custom operating systems with OMS support from Android 7.x.x onwards. Compatible with:

Themed Items and Support Information

Some ROMs might feature unique icons for their advanced settings. Should you notice any missing icons, please report them via the Bugs section on the Google+ page, our Telegram Group, or send us an email with the ROM name and a screenshot.

Note that themed apps are currently in beta and may undergo regular updates for icons and UI improvements. Additionally, battery icons in quick settings tiles may remain white, as certain ROMs do not support color changes based on accent selection. This theme is compatible only with 7.1.1 OMS-ready Custom ROMs and has been tested on OnePlus 2 at 400 DPI.
